Stamps of Artsakh

Although the independence of the Republic of Artsakh is not yet internationally recognized on the level of sovereign states, Artsakh has been issuing stamps from the very beginning of independence. Stamps of a country demonstrate, better than anything else, the main values of that country. Stamp topics are probably universal: historic achievements, important people and events in the life of the country and their anniversaries, architecture, beautiful vistas, feasts and holidays and things that the country is famous for and proud of. Artsakh is no different, and the stamps it has issued are a brief introduction to the country and a summary of it at the same time.
